Meh, not great...
You can see it used to be rectangular, even with the smudging and transparency. And I don't like the squarey bits in the middle...

Umm like i sed on SSF make it a normal border - i hate that type of border.
I like the smudging, text and swish thing.
Whats the triangle light on the BG though?

I like that type of border Anyway i think it suits this sig.

the erasing of the edge IS the border... its like this sig i found for example:
(You may say i copied that sig, but i see hundreds of sigs in that style so i didnt just get the idea from that particular one  )

Because that one doesn't have any rectangular or straight edges, whereas yours does.

Ok, but if i take out the bottom of torres it will ruin some of the rendering that took me ages to do If i do it more around the edge will it look better?

Yeah, do it more around the edges, maybe make a border at the bottom that fades away to either side, so you don't have to erase any of the Torres render. 
I dunno...

I did. I added a slight border at the bottom which, in my opinion, makes the straight edge look more suitable
